The AAJA national chapter announced this year’s winner for Chapter President of the Year at the national convention in Washington D.C. this week. We’re happy to hear that the winner is our very own Ramy Inocencio! He has worked tirelessly to help build the Asia chapter to more than 200 members and organize an annual regional conference, the New.Now.Next Media Conference, among other accomplishments.
Here’s his message to the chapter:
My fellow AAJA-Asia members, from the bottom of my heart I’m humbled and honored to be your president. I dedicate this Chapter President of the Year award to all 200-strong of us in our AAJA-Asia family from Hong Kong to Seoul, Tokyo to Manila, Bangkok to Singapore, Beijing to Shantou, Mumbai, Delhi, Kathmandu and everywhere else in between. Thank you to past presidents Ken Moritsugu and Allen Cheng, Vice Presidents Yuriko Nagano in Tokyo, Sean Lim in Seoul, Wendy Tang in Hong Kong and the rest of our amazing board for the wonderful work they do to bring everyone great social, educational and job opportunities.
