Bloomberg BNA, a stand-alone subsidiary of Bloomberg LLP, is seeking several freelance correspondents in Asia to cover legal and regulatory news.
Applicants must have several years reporting experience working on daily deadlines for English-language publications and local language skills. Must be able to work well independently and be aggressive when it comes to pitching story ideas.
Qualifications required include writing on daily deadline for U.S.-based readership, AP style skills, proven knowledge of government and legal processes in the region, ability to write clearly and concisely about complex topics, and a highly developed nose for news. Ideal candidates will be self-starters who work well independently and communicate well with a number of editors.
Freelance positions offer a competitive pay rate commensurate with experience. Correspondents are expected to be file three or more stories a week.
