Gay Star News, which bills itself as the world’s leading, rolling LGBT news website, is seeking a freelance journalist in Asia within an hour or two of the Hong Kong time zone. The position offers competitive rates and is part-time, and with weekend shifts.
We need an experienced/qualified news journalist with a passion for gay (LGBT) news to join the world’s only LGBT 24/7 global news portal. You will have newspaper and/or online news writing experience which will have taught you how to work fast, accurately and with minimum supervision. You will need to shine at sourcing stories and writing them to maximize their impact online. Social media, video or podcasting skills would be a big plus. We write in (American) English.
