N3Con is back for 2019! AAJA-Asia is proud to announce that this year’s edition of N3Con will be held once again in Hong Kong on May 30–June 2.
This year’s conference will focus on Covering Asia’s New Order. We’ll be investigating the rise of China, the changing face of Asia, the shifting alliances and economic patterns throughout the region, the fight for an independent press, and a lot more.

To understand the future of this continent, N3Con will look at historic events that have shaped the path to the present day. When we convene, it will be 30th anniversary of the Tiananmen Square protests, which remain a watershed moment for the region that reverberates today. From our vantage point, we’ll look both to the past and into the future to see how we can better inform our readers.
Join us for in-depth panels, workshops, and talks that reveal the genuine challenges and rewards of journalism in 2019! With participants and speakers from a number of global media organizations, as well as some of the region’s leading journalists in attendance, you won’t want to miss out. This is an invaluable experience for all journalists, public relations professionals, newsmakers and students operating within Asia!
