Seoul: East-West Center International Media Conference

The East-West Center has announced the dates for its third International Media Conference in Seoul. The 2012 conference is scheduled for June 22-24, and its theme is “Networked News: How New Media is Shaping Stories in Asia and the Pacific.”

The 3rd East-West Center International Media Conference will look at news and journalism issues in Asia, the Pacific and United States through the prism of New Media. South Korea, often called the “most wired nation in the world,” provides an ideal venue because of its dynamic media, leadership and innovation in IT, economic success and growing reputation for international gatherings.

Online registration opens later this month. More details on the conference website.
