Marc Scarpa (DeFiance Media) Marc Scarpa is a pioneer in live participatory media and the CEO and Founder of DeFiance Media. An accomplished entrepreneur, producer, and director, Marc serves as a founding executive board member of the Producers Guild of America (PGA) New Media Council. His groundbreaking work in bridging traditional broadcast with digital innovation has earned him a Webby Award, a Cannes Bronze Lion, and multiple Social TV Awards. With decades of experience, Marc brings deep expertise in the evolution of news distribution, broadcast technology, and the future of interactive media.

Yu-Shin Tsao (PyroImage) Yu-Hsin Tsao is a freelance photojournalist and a collaborating photographer with PyroImage. Known for his adventurous spirit and human-centric storytelling, he is driven by a commitment to document history as it unfolds. He traveled solo to Ukraine shortly after the outbreak of the war to capture the reality on the ground. Through his lens, Yu-Hsin reveals not just the conflict, but the resilience of daily life amidst the chaos—finding moments of quiet humanity in war zones. His work offers a raw, on-the-ground perspective, highlighting the power of photography to bear witness to the unpredictable nature of our world.

Sofia Yan (Numbers Protocol) Sofia Yan is the Co-Founder and Chief Growth Officer at Numbers Protocol, where she leads global initiatives to restore trust in digital media. With a strong background in AI business development and intellectual property, Sofia is dedicated to building the infrastructure for content verification and provenance. She plays a pivotal role in driving the adoption of the Numbers network, empowering creators and journalists to secure their work against AI scraping and deepfakes. Committed to an ethical data economy, Sofia advocates for transparent standards (such as C2PA) that allow media professionals to reclaim control over their digital assets.
